Field Photography Collective

A photography community by peace, security, and development professionals that bring you closer to the field

A Collective Experience in Pictures

FPC is a community for and by peace, security, and development professionals that want to convey their personal and honest stories in pictures. The stories are based on the member’s experiences while working in difficult settings with human challenges from around the world.

"The world thorugh your lens"

We believe that stories are best told through the prism of your camera lens and pen. The FPC platform aspires to provide a community of professionals to share their experience in the form of short photo essays about their work and the people they have encountered.

The stories we chose to publish are highly personal and driven by the motivation to bring you closer to the people they portray, their aspirations, and life. They touch upon a numer of topics which our photographers are free to chose. We only ask the stories told to be sincere, and close to your heart - we want to see the world through your lens.

Our Story

Field Photography Collective was created in 2019 by Sofia Zitouni and Fallckolm Cuenca. After years of working with and documenting peace, security and development around the world, they felt that there was a need to share their work.

The FPC platform was created based on the belief that there are numerous stories left untold and endless photos yet to be taken but also a desire to find and promote aspiring photographers in the peace, security and development community. Ultimately, FPC aspires to recognise ordinary people that live extraordinary lives in often difficult and sometimes precarious conditions.

The Organisation

As of February 2020 FPC was registered as a non-for profit organisation in Stockholm, Sweden. FPC holds the following org. number: 802529-4185.
